Solid entry on both sides of the field, the Bucks start strong with an 8-0. A bad start that the Knicks will quickly correct thanks to Jalen Brunson and Evan Fournier (2/3 to 3 points).
But thanks to a brilliant Bobby Portis (8 points and 5 rebounds), Milwaukee closed the first quarter with a short header (26-24) at the horn of the latter.
With a pretty awkward starting lineup, New York can count on its bench (10/19 shooting) to shoot. The Bucks can count on their star Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek, author of 18 points in 18 minutes, allows his team to get ahead of the break (59-53).
Returning from the locker room, the Knicks are completely overwhelmed. Evan Fournier’s teammates multiply turnovers and make all the wrong decisions offensively. Milwaukee will take advantage of this to inflict a spectacular 18-0 “run” under the impetus of Jrue Holiday, who finally wakes up. New York will not recover from it, victory for the Bucks by 119-108 that chain a fourth success in a row, to remain the only undefeated team this season.
WHAT TO REMEMBER
Two clumsy teams. This game was marked by a very low shooting percentage on both sides: 38.5% for Milwaukee, 39.8% for New York.
18-0. During the third quarter, the Bucks went 18-0 in 3 minutes that sealed the game.
TOPS/FLOPS
Giannis Antetokounmpo. Excellent once again, he participated in all the highlights of the Bucks: 30 points, 14 rebounds, 9 assists and above all the best +/- of the game with +27.
✅Grayson Allen. Clean and efficient, he was one of the few skillful players in the game: 17 points on 6/10 shooting, including a good 4/6 3-pointer.
✅ Bobby Portis. Always in the battle for both sides of the court, he contributed a lot from the bench: 12 points and 12 rebounds in 25 minutes.
⛔️Julius Randle. Despite his double-double (14 points, 12 rebounds), he was too clumsy with 3/10 shooting.
⛔️Mitchell Robinson. Very little in sight, it weighed nothing on the Knicks game.
